Friendly Dental Van is proud to serve North Carolina

The Friendly Dental Van (FDV) mobile dental program was founded in Charlotte, in 2002 and has been in continuous operation for over ten years. The goal of FDV is to provide comprehensive dental services to those children who do not normally receive routine and ongoing dental care.

In addition to these services our Dental Van offers the complete restoration of the teeth that we find decayed, unlike other mobile dental services who offer only cleanings and screenings.

The contribution to a county's overall oral health can be dramatically impacted by this program as we follow the children from K-4 through middle school.

There is no cost to the school system. The responsibility of the participating schools is minimal. The medical history/consent forms are provided by us and distributed by the teachers/administration. We will pick them up once they are returned. We return to each school every six months to continue the dental care of the existing patients as well as any new participants
